Robin Reyllo's story starts far from the tattoo chair — on the deck of a ship, where he spent years as a chief cook, feeding crews across open water, far from home in the Philippines. Even then, tattooing was the passion he carried quietly with him, sketched in notebooks between shifts.

When he migrated to Canada, Robin kept cooking to build a new life — but the pull toward tattoo art never faded. Eventually, he traded the galley for the studio, turning a lifelong passion into Dark Black Tattoo: bold linework, sharp geometry, and a steady hand shaped by years of discipline and care.
